What your ideal clients want your profile to show

If you’re like me and want to make sure your profile is as optimised as it can be.

Then you’ve probably tweaked your profile a bit too much.

Changing that banner, tweaking the featured, re-writing your about section.

But there’s a small set of things your ideal client is looking for.

1. Who you help, what you do, and how you do it

It’s crazy to see how many people overcomplicate this.

Most people get so fussed up with their messaging and having a cool catchphrase.

But end up confusing their audience with what they actually do.

I use the headline as a way to solve this problem such as:

“I help Coaches sign clients through LinkedIn with 1:1 coaching.”

Which makes it painfully obvious on who I help, what I do and how I do it.

This is key because if your ideal clients have to search about to see if you help them.

This is a problem.

2. Results/Testimonials

The results and testimonials you have is what really makes you stand out.

As they speak for themselves opposed to just having some clever messaging.

I use my featured section to showcase these as this keeps my results clear to ideal clients viewing my profile.

Here I’ll share testimonials and screenshots of wins for clients and myself as this is what my ideal clients are looking for to see a solution that’s getting results.

However if the impact you’re having isn’t constantly visible.

You’ll lack the trust for ideal clients to see you as someone who can help them achieve their goal.

I cover this in more detail in the video here.

Referrals are a prison Referrals are great for your business. But relying on them is costing you also. As you have no control over how many and when they will come. AKA → You’re running a business purely on chance. Not a good idea. Where I often hear coaches share the anxiety and uncertainty in this situation. So the first step forward is to regain control. AKA → Use an effective system consistently for your lead generation. Here’s what this looks like for me: Step 1: Securing Qualified Leads...

Why content alone won’t get you consistent leads Content is useful for a lot of things. Building credibility, showing proof of your results and getting inbound leads. However what it lacks is the consistency of the leads it can generate. Here’s why. 1st: Not everyone is going to feel “ready” to reach out → Even if these individuals feel like they could benefit from your help, they’re either holding themselves back or still unsure on who they should get support from. 2nd: Your content won’t...

How to create content that “works” You’ve been told to create content consistently. But is this really all there is to content? See I don’t see content as a primary lead generation source but more as a trust-builder. As inbound leads from content are often unpredictable and inconsistent. Which is why I focus more on outreach (but that’s for another time). So how do you create content that builds trust with your audience and makes them feel heard? Here’s the 3 types of content I look to make:...
